Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears think[box]

Case Western Reserve University's center for innovation and entrepreneurship provides a space for anyone - students, faculty, and alumni and members of the community - to tinker and creatively invent.  Located in a 7-story, 50,000 square foot facility, with 4 floors occupied and more under renovation, this project is the largest open-access innovation center at any university in the world. By numbers, think[box] receives over 5000 visits each month, making it the third most popular facility on campus, on par with the athletics center and the library. Popularity grows within on-campus researchers as well - in 2017 think[box] was the most cited core facility on campus.

New Summer Hours

This summer think[box] will be experimenting with alternative hours to better serve our community. Starting June 6 think[box] will operate under a modified summer schedule that includes selected evening and weekend hours. Please note that the Veale Athletic Center is closed on weekends and after 8pm weekdays this summer, so visitors must enter through the Richey Mixon Building's exterior door on the first floor.

Floor 4 - Fabrication Closed Until September 5th

Floor 4, the Fabrication floor with metal shop, wood shop, waterjet cutter and welding room will be closed until think[box] reopens in the fall on September 5th as new equipment is added to the floor. All Floor 4 resources, tools, and training will be unavailable until then.
